Story progress stops after you start to clip the grass after visiting the backyard

Early in the game’s first chapter we have seen reports of players getting stuck when they are prompted to visit the backyard and cut down the grass. Follow these instructions to continue progress in the game.

1. On the third day (Wednesday) of the first chapter, the child will become excited and go out to the backyard. They will ask you to help clear out the tall grass and tree branches.
2. Tap multiple times to remove each patch of grass and each tree branch. There is a hidden tree branch that is not as noticable as the others behind where the child stands.
